ABOUT OUR HOME:- Home Swap UK: Our home is located in a secluded close in a pretty Test Valley village, in the heart of the countryside. Yet only an hour’s drive from Heathrow Airport.

Our light, airy home benefits from real peace and quiet, well away from any busy thoroughfares.

The home offers spacious, open-plan cooking, dining and living areas, and also a sheltered outdoor seating area. There is also an exciting children’s adventure play area in the garden. In the garden, you will also find a trampoline and two treehouses connected with a rope and timber bridge.

Indoors, there are plenty of board games and toys for all ages. A 4’ table football table and 6’ snooker table is also available. In addition, we can loan various baby and child equipment, as well as bikes (child and adult).

Currently, the house is arranged to sleep 6 people in 4 large bedrooms. There are 2 doubles with ensuites, 2 singles sharing the family bathroom, three are additional cloakroom downstairs with 2 studies.

There is plenty of room to park on the drive.

About the location

Home Swap: This part of rural Hampshire, in the south of the UK comprises of rolling hills of chalk down land. It is dissected by crystal clear streams and dotted with quaint, thatched villages in hidden valleys.

Chilbolton is particularly peaceful, it is not on a main road – yet retains excellent access to the UK road network.

As well as the beautiful, tranquil countryside in every direction and local beauty spots, Stonehenge (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is just half an hour away by car.

Two of England’s ten national parks are also within easy reach: the South Downs National Park is a 20 minute drive and the New Forest National Park also is a 35-minute drive.

The small, picturesque market town of Stockbridge is 5 minutes’ drive away and the stunning cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury are 20 and 35 minutes’ drive respectively.
