Home Swap Austin: Spacious Centrally Located – walking distance to greenbelt hiking and mountain biking. Austin is such a fun and vibrant city! It has amazing food-options (much more than just BBQ – don’t get me wrong, we love a good brisket but there is much more to enjoy too :D). It is very family-friendly with a wide variety of outdoor activities. The warm weather means we get to enjoy those outdoor activites year round too! We love our city and look forward to sharing it with you!!

About our home

Our home is a wonderful combination of being in a quiet, community-oriented neighborhood in SW Austin but still within 10 minutes to downtown and popular eating/shopping areas (e.g. SoCO)! We are less than half a mile to the Barton Creek Greenbelt which offers great hiking and mountain biking trails.

We have a one story house so it is easily accessible for various needs/situations. The mastersuite has a king bed (Leesa mattress and memory foam topper with organic bedding) and ensuite master bath with large tub and shower. The other three bedrooms have a bunkbed, another a daybed with trundle and a crib in the other. We have air mattresses and other options available to accomodate more people if needed.

We love to cook and have a well-stocked kitchen including a vitamix, InstantPot, airfryer, kitchenaid and Sous Vide. Outside we have both a Traeger and charcoal grill.

The backyard is truly a favorite of everyone who comes to our house, it is a very spacious backyard that is a delight for adults and children alike equipped with a playscape, trampoline, and patio for enjoying a glass of wine.

There is a TV in the master bedroom with a chrome cast for playing netflix, disney+, hulu, etc. We also have lots of board games, puzzles and piano/guitar for enjoying while you are here!
