Home Swap Atlanta: Our 11th floor condo is in the heart of Midtown and at the western edge of Piedmont Park. This is my primary home so swaps of less than 3 weeks or so are not really practical. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the small but comfortable balcony while watching the morning sun rise over Piedmont Park and Stone Mountain (it faces east) or walk to one of the many nearby cafes (I recommend Intermezzo) or the food court across the street at Colony Square.

Updated in 2021 it is a modern 1 BDRM + Den (setup as an office), quiet, small but quite comfortable for 2 although we have had children crash on the large couch as a 3rd. We have a full-size shower and a top-of-the-line bidet in our home. And although it optionally includes a car and bicycles you will never need the car unless you plan to explore the Georgia countryside or to get out of town and go to the beach or mountains for the day. If you want to explore even farther afield, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International airport is only a 25 minute MARTA (subway) ride away and is the USA’s busiest airport.

We have both 5G and 2.4Ghz wireless internet in our condo , Local, Roku, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Pandora, 100+ internet channels and Disney+ movie channels on both TV’s although with all Midtown has to offer I doubt you will watch it much 🙂

Home Swap Atlanta: The building also includes a full gym, 2 outdoor barbecue grills, a library for reading and an outdoor ‘picnic/socializing’ area and small dog park.

Everything is within walking or scooting/biking distance to the extent that several years ago I used my car to go to the dentist because it was raining outside, when I finished at the dentist it had stopped raining and I walked home. It took me 3 full months before I realized my car was not in its reserved underground parking spot… yes, I left it at the dentist. Did I mention Midtown is walkable?

Midtown is upscale but not stuffy while also being the home of the largest gay community in the Southeast USA and takes pride in its well established diversity and acceptance of all; second to Washington, DC this is also the most culturally, racially accepting and mixed community I have ever lived in!
