My Cottage is Circa 1870 with a sympathetic extension. It can operate as two separate sections each with it’s own entrance, kitchen, sitting room, bathroom and bedroom with QS beds. One section is slightly larger. So two couples travelling together can have their own space as well as get together easily.

About the location

The Cottage is an easy 20 minute walk to the famous Salamanca Place and Hobart docks precinct. This is the departure point for the internationally famous MONA ferry (Museum of Old and New Art). It is a 5 min walk to the Sandy Bay village shopping area with heaps of cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and essential services such as pharmacies etc. The Cottage has a garden view and level access (apart from a couple of steps). There is ample heating and quality bed linen and towels. Many beautiful day trips from Hobart will see you explore Bruny Island, the Huon Valley, New Norfolk, My Wellington (kunanyi) to name a few. Since the opening of MONA about 10 years ago Hobart has blossomed as an international destination and as a result the restaurant and arts scene has grown and become highly regarded.
