Home Swap Copenhagen: Cosy house in Wonderful Copenhagen in a well off neighbourhood in Vanløse, close to everything Copenhagen has to offer. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and with easy access to busses, S-train and Metro, that will take you anywhere – from Central Copenhagen to other parts of Zealand or even Sweden in just 30-45 minutes. There are city busses 5 minutes walk from the house that go to the center of Copenhagen. The house is just a few minutes walk from a local park and close to a well visited lake-area with easy access to public transport, supermarkets, cinema, shops and cafes/restaurants, fitness center, shopping mall.

Home Swap Copenhagen: Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark with a population of more than 1.000.000 and the city has just been voted the ‘most liveable city in the world’ by the English lifestyle magazine Monocle. For the second time. Copenhagen has everything you can expect from a capital – great shopping, lots of old and modern museums, live music events every day all year round, Royal and underground theatres, a great zoo – the list goes on. And don’t miss Tivoli, The Little Mermaid, Kronborg at Elsinore (where the story of Hamlet took place) and a stroll along Nyhavn (New Haven). Take a break from it all in one of the many green parks spread across the city. Lend one of our 5 bikes and see the city from a different angle (Copenhagen is a bikers’ heaven with cycle tracks covering most of the city). If you fancy visiting Sweden Malmoe is only 35 minutes away. Malmoe is the 3rd largest city in Sweden with a population of 250.000. It has a large variety of shopping opportunities not to mention a lot of good restaurants, cafés, parks and museums. Especially the old part of the city centre (around Little Town Square) is attractive with many half-timbered houses and cobbled streets. This area is also packed with cafés and restaurants and is always full of life and outside dining – perfect for people watching and a good cup of coffee. Our charming house of 320 m2 consists of a large living room with entrance to the ensuite kitchen/dining room. The kitchen has microwave, dishwasher, gas cooker, oven and all the equipment you’ll need in a kitchen. From the kitchen you have a wonderful view over the terrace and our large, sunny garden with plenty of flora. You can enter the garden from the living room. The hallway leads to the large teenageroom and 2 extra rooms plus the bathroom. We have recently renovated the first floor with two new light and airy bedrooms. One room is our youngest’s bedroom with a queen size bed, the second one is the master bedroom. 28 sqm with elevation beds and a wall of travel books, literature and photo books, many of which are in English if you wish to sit back and read for a while. If you come in the spring, summertime or early autumn, you can throw some meat on the Weber or the gas grill and enjoy the secluded, sunny garden, where we also have a huge hammock. Did we mention the trampoline? It’s a huge success for both children and adults 🙂 We have cable, wifi, Netflix, HBO Max, and sometimes Disney+. There is a washing machine and an extra toilet in the basement. My husband likes to play music so he has arranged a ‘music room’ in the basement with piano, keyboard, drums, bass guitar, electric and acoustic guitars etc.
